Put your passion in your fashion!
They provide us with the best fibre known to humankind, so of course knitters love sheep! Declare your love with these pretty socks, designed for everyday wear in cool climes.
The Droving socks are knitted from the top down, with traditional heel and toe constructions. Decreases below the colourwork compensate for the change in tension/gauge when switching to plain stocking stitch. Foot length is customisable.
To fit up to 21½(24:26½)cm/ 8½(9½:10½)” foot circumference. The finished socks measure 20 (22½:25)cm/8(9:10)” around the mid-foot.
2 colours of a 4ply/fingering weight yarn with approximately 350 metres/380 yards per 100g. You will need 100g of MC and 30g of CC.
The pictured socks were made with Eden Cottage ‘Harewood 4ply’ in the Millpond (MC) and Linen (CC) shades.
