These romantic ladies socks are designed to enhance the wearer’s feeling of femininity and mystery. They are particularly effective when knitted in dark yarns as the lace eyelets then appear as twinkly stars against the dark fabric of the sock.

The socks are knitted top-down on 2.5mm/US1½ needles at a tension of 32 stitches and 44 rounds to 10cm/4″. Choose appropriate needles for your preferred method of small diameter circular knitting; either DPNs, or two medium length circulars, or one long circular (for ‘magic loop’ method).

The pattern is sized for a medium ladies foot with customizable leg and foot lengths. Full written instructions are given for knitting each part of the sock

Yarn required is up to 100g of any 4ply/fingering weight sock yarn.
